Jon Archer
Jon is a native West Virginian and a master craftsman. He is the owner of the custom furniture company "Jon Archer Designs" in Austin Texas. Jon ships his commissioned handcrafted furniture all over the United States and his clients range from neighbors to celebrities. Jon has a BS in Architectural Design and Construction Management and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He has over 25 years in various related industries and has built multiple custom homes & off-grid systems from the ground up. Jon is the primary instructor for archery, construction techniques, finish carpentry, basic electricity, solar power, & various other off-grid techniques.
Greg Hennigan
Greg is a native of Louisiana, a graduate of Yale and is an accomplished classically trained guitarist. Greg has spent the last 10 years working in artificial intelligence for a successful AI company in Austin Texas. Not only is he a brilliant mind, but has perfected the art of Texas barbeque. Greg is the primary instructor for off-grid tech, drones, hunting and trapping techniques, plumbing skills, water filtration, Texas barbeque techniques, contemplative group activities and heads up all live music at the Broken Tine.
JD Dennis
JD is a US Marine with a degree in Criminal Justice and is highly trained in strategy development & implementation, threat & risk assessment, crisis response, executive & event security, and use of force. He is a weapons specialist / expert and has extensive experience as a combat marksmanship instructor and range coach. JD is the primary instructor for safety, first-aid, trauma care, range coach, firearms, tactical training and team building.
"Uncle Mike" Hoagland
Mike is a native of Oklahoma and is an accomplished retired fine artist. He has artwork ranging from sculptures to pen and ink, water color, and oil paintings in homes all over the US. Mike has lived much of his adult life in off-grid situations while raising his 9 children and tending to a menagerie of livestock. Mike is the primary instructor for ammunition reloading as well as other off-grid techniques.
